She gave her father forty-one.
Lizzie Andrew Borden (July 19, 1860 РJune 1, 1927) was a New England spinster who was the central figure in the hatchet murders of her father and stepmother on August 4, 1892 in Fall River, Massachusetts. The murders, subsequent trial, and following trial by media became a cause c̩l̬bre. The fame of the incident has endured in American pop culture and criminology. Although Lizzie Borden was acquitted, no one else was ever arrested or tried, and she has remained notorious in American folklore. The "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" is a novella written by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is about a London lawyer who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr Henry Jekyll and the misanthropic Mr Hyde.

The work is known for its vivid portrayal of a split personality, split in the sense that within the same person there is both an apparently good and an evil personality each being quite distinct from the other. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next.

This is a unique Moon Bun that features two sides, with two unique personalities.

Count Orlok from the German Expressionist vampire horror film, Nosferatu. The movie was in essence an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel.

The ending of Nosferatu single-handedly created the concept that vampires can be physically harmed by sunlight. While this was a common element of many other mythical creatures, pre-Nosferatu vampires disliked but could endure daylight. Since Nosferatu's release, the vampire legends have quickly incorporated the idea of fearing, or being destroyed by, the sun.

Jiang Shi Moon Bun
Sometimes called Chinese vampires, Jiang Shi bear a closer resemblance to zombies. They are reanimated corpses that hop around, killing living creatures to absorb life essence from their victims. They are said to be created when a person's soul fails to leave the deceased's body, due to improper death, suicide, or just wanting to cause trouble.

Alex Moon Bun
Alex DeLarge, from the movie A Clockwork Orange, is a charismatic, psychopathic delinquent whose pleasures are classical music and ultra-violence.

Edgar A. Poe Moon Bun
Edgar Allan Poe (January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American writer, poet, editor and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective-fiction genre. He is further credited with contributing to the emerging genre of science fiction. He was the first well-known American writer to try to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career.

The Ghost of Anne Bolyen Moon Bun
Anne Boleyn was Queen of England as the second wife of King Henry VIII, the mother of Queen Elizabeth I, and Marquess of Pembroke in her own right. In April 1536, Henry had Anne investigated for high treason. Tried and found guilty, she was beheaded on 19 May. Her headless ghost is said to haunt the area around the Green Tower

Appearing first in Resident Evil 2, the Licker is a further mutation caused by the V-ACT process, which mutates normal Zombies into the extremely agile and vicious Crimson Head. The name "Licker" was given to this creature by the officers at the Raccoon Police Department for their incredibly long tongues.

Other changes from normal Zombies to Lickers include the brain swelling and becoming visible, an increase in muscle development and the total loss of skin.

Lickers have lost the use of their eyes entirely and cannot track prey by sight. Their super developed hearing however more than compensates for the loss. Upon detecting potential prey it will attack full force with teeth, tongue and claws, often alerting others of its kind in the vicinity as well.

Jack the Ripper is a pseudonym given to a brutal and bloody serial killer who was active in Whitechapel and adjacent districts of London in late 1888. The name originated from a letter sent to the London Central News Agency by someone claiming to be the murderer.

Countess Elizabeth Báthory (August 7, 1560 - August 21, 1614) was a Hungarian countess from the renowned Báthory family. She is possibly the most prolific female serial killer in history and is remembered as the "Blood Countess" and as the "Bloody Lady of Csejte", after the castle near Trencsén in the Kingdom of Hungary, where she spent most of her adult life.

After her husband's death, she and four collaborators were accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and young women, with one witness attributing to them over 600 victims. In 1610, she was imprisoned in the Csejte Castle, where she remained bricked in a set of rooms until her death four years later.

The case of Elizabeth Báthory inspired numerous stories during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The most common motif of these works was that of the countess bathing in her victims' blood in order to retain beauty or youth.

This Moon Bun has been dipped in "blood" and allowed to have it seep into and through her dress.

The 2nd piece in 2009's 31 Amigurumi in October series, Count Dracula.

Bram Stoker moved against the depiction of the vampires of Eastern European folklore as repulsive, corpse-like creatures. Dracula exuded a veneer of aristocratic charm which masked his unfathomable evil and, many say, started our love affair with the Vampire.

This is just to show, how the weather hates me. When I'm looking for a cloudy day for dark vampire photos, I get bright sunshine. haha!
